Can I schedule an appointment only for the dietitians?
It is always advised to perform a consultation with a doctor as a first step, but if you’d prefer to meet a dietitian only, it is an option. You can contact us or make an appointment online through our booking system.
Do you have medical coverage under a health fund?
We have an arrangement with Leumit Health Care only.
Which blood test results should I bring to my first appointment?
Blood count test, chemistry panels including kidney function (creatinine), liver function including GGT, microalbumin (urine), TSH, vitamin D, lipid panel, A1C (it is optional to have the A1C test at the Glandt Center), magnesium, CRP, fasting insulin test, uric acid, B12, ferritin.
Do you accept private medical insurance?
We do, yet we advise you to check with your private health insurance representative regarding refunds for consultations with a specialist physician.
Which studies support a low-carb diet for type 2 diabetes?
Can I schedule an appointment even if I don’t have diabetes?
Absolutely. Besides treating Diabetes types 1 and 2, we also treat prediabetes and obesity, fatty liver disease, high blood pressure, and hypercholesterolemia, and create a suitable diet plan (including medications) for each of our patients.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
It is advisable to bring recent blood test results, a list of your regular medications (if you have any), and all other relevant medical information. If you are using a glucose monitor (glucometer), bring it with you as well.
