Glandt Center for Diabetes Care's purpose and goal is to improve its patient’s metabolic and health conditions, putting its emphasis on nutrition and lifestyle.
We put our best efforts to maintain a wide range of communication methods between the centers’ patients and team and work hard to develop and refine our online communication channels to give our patients the full treatment and personal care they need.
On this page, you will find all of the online communication methods, including their conditions and limitations. Using said communication methods constitute the patient's consent to the specified conditions.
- There is an option to communicate with the Glandt Center automated system by sending a text message or WhatsApp to the number 0526280416. To use the WhatsApp option, please use this link. Make it be known that the WhatsApp option is preferable.
- There is an option to send blood glucose levels, blood ketone levels, weight, and blood pressure. This data will be automatically entered into the centers’ operating system and will not appear on the teams’ cellular devices as text messages.
Furthermore, the team doesn’t commit to regularly monitor the figures and data, which are received to create a more accurate status of the patients’ conditions prior to their arrival at the center.
The centers’ expert team does not commit to revising said data at any frequency and/or give feedback on any of the data, including times when the numbers are not in the normal range. This service is not to be seen as a replacement for emergency medical services, and in any case, the responsibility to seek such services is at the patients’ discretion alone.
- To send your blood glucose levels measurement, send the level number (as long as it’s over 50), in mg/dl units (milligrams per deciliter) (for example “120”), as shown in your glucose meter. The information will be automatically assigned to your medical record. Make sure you only write a number and not messages such as “80, can you believe it?!” or “120 after fasting”.
- To send your blood ketone levels measurement, send the level number (as long as it’s under 20), as shown in your ketone meter. The information will be automatically assigned to your medical record. Make sure you only write a number and not messages such as “10 after a meal”.
- To send your weight measurement, send the number followed by the word “kg” (for example “95 kg”). The information will be automatically assigned to your medical record.
- To send your blood pressure measurement, send a message with the diastolic blood pressure and systolic blood pressure, separated by a slash (/), for example, “120/100). The information will be automatically assigned to your medical record.
